(March 5, 2024) - Foley & Lardner LLP has appointed mergers and acquisition attorney Nicholas O'Keefe as a partner in its transactions practice group.

He joins Foley & Lardner's Silicon Valley office in Palo Alto, California, the firm said in a Feb. 26 statement.

Before joining Foley & Lardner, O'Keefe was a partner at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP, where he worked for 10 years. He also spent 13 years at Latham & Watkins LLP as a partner and three years at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP as an associate.

O'Keefe focuses on M&A and corporate and securities laws, and he assists public and private companies and investment funds in the technology, tech services, fintech, health care and life sciences industries.

Christopher C. Cain, co-chair of Foley & Lardner's transaction practice group, said O'Keefe "has built a leading M&A practice throughout his career and boasts a vast array of experience in technology and health care transactions."
