(April 02, 2024) - Foley & Lardner LLP has hired Mark Grundvig, a former official in the U.S. Department of Justice's antitrust division, as a partner.
He joins Foley & Lardner's antitrust and competition practice group in its Washington, D.C., office, the firm said in an April 1 statement.
Grundvig spent nearly 25 years in the DOJ's antitrust division. He recently was assistant chief of the unit's Washington Criminal II section and previously led the department's criminal antitrust investigations as a senior trial attorney.
"Foley's national platform, sector-aligned focus, and impressive roster of antitrust litigators attracted me as I looked to take the next step in my career," Grundvig said in the statement.
His career with the government also included roles as special assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, counsel on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee's antitrust, competition policy and consumer rights subcommittee, and law clerk at the Arizona Court of Appeals.
