Law firm Lathrop GPM adds 2 to Missouri trust, estate planning group

(February 15, 2024) - Attorneys Peter LeBlanc Jr. and Kevin Mason have joined the trusts, estates and legacy planning practice group in Lathrop GPM LLP's Missouri offices.
Lathrop GPM hired LeBlanc as a counsel in its St. Louis office and Mason as an associate in its Kansas City office, according to a Feb. 14 statement from the firm.
LeBlanc, previously with Lowenhaupt & Chasnoff LLC, focuses on trusts, estates and business succession planning matters, including legacy development and tax administration. He spent three years at Shands Elbert Gianoulakis & Giljum LLP and served as a trust officer and assistant vice president at the Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank. He holds a Master of Laws degree in taxation from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.
Mason's practice includes predeath estate strategy, wealth preservation, the creation of wills, and trust and estate litigation. He previously was an associate at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP and an adviser at UMB Trust Co.
