(February 1, 2024) - Commercial finance attorneys Frederick C.C. Boyd III, Tyler R.T. Wolf, Doug Plante and Gregory Preston have joined Barnes & Thornburg LLP's corporate department in Atlanta.
Boyd and Wolf join Barnes & Thornburg as partners, while Plante and Preston will serve as of counsel and associate, respectively, the law firm said in a Jan. 31 statement. The quartet were previously with Morris, Manning & Martin LLP.
They primarily advise financial institutions on transactions related to commercial real estate, hotels, restaurant chains, fitness centers, and convenience and gas stores.
Boyd, whose practice includes secured and unsecured lending transactions, will split his time between Barnes & Thornburg's Atlanta and Boston offices.
Wolf counseled private equity sponsors, portfolio companies and non-sponsored borrowers on refinancing, acquisition and recapitalization matters for 11 years at Morris, Manning & Martin after his stint as an associate at King & Spalding LLP.
