(February 23, 2024) - Intellectual property attorney Brian Kinnear has joined Husch Blackwell LLP's Denver office.
Husch Blackwell has appointed Kinnear, an electrical engineer, as a partner to its IP practice group, the firm said in a Feb. 20 statement. His practice focuses on patent prosecution and counseling.
Before joining Husch Blackwell, he was as a partner at Perkins Coie LLP and Holland & Hart LLP. He also served as an engineer at the U.S. Department of Defense, where he helped upgrade the nuclear power plant for fast-attack submarines used by the U.S. Navy.
Daniel S. Cohn, co-leader of Husch Blackwell's IP practice group, said Kinnear "greatly expands our national patent practice as he focuses on emerging areas of technology."
